Our Story

!Hola! I'm Estela Arredondo, a proud Mexican woman who has lived in England for many years now.

My love for food began in childhood, inspired by my mother, an exceptional cook and baker. Through her, I learned that food is much more than nourishment—it is love, tradition, community, and a way of celebrating life.

When I was 24 years old, I graduated as a Graphic Designer and I moved to England to work for Hallmark. After my daughters were born I decided to follow my passion and started my own authentic Mexican food business, offering pop-ups, catering, and food market experiences.

Living far from home made me miss the flavours I grew up with— the dishes that carry memories and connect us to our roots.

This intense feeling inspired me to share authentic Mexican food and products with others.

MISKI is a tribute to the food that nourished me, the stories it tells, and its power to bring people together. The name MISKI means "pleasant to the palate", perfectly reflecting my mission.

What began with my popular homemade salsas during lockdown soon grew into a collection of artisanal products, including spicy jams, cooking sauces, Mexican sweet treats, and delicatessen biscuits. Later, I expanded into uniquely designed tea towels, tote bags, and aprons, all celebrating Mexican culture and identity.

Today, my goal is to continue creating distinctive products that reflect the heritage, flavours, and creativity of México.

Thank you for supporting MISKI and being part of this journey. I look forward to sharing the flavours and stories that have shaped my life and bringing a little joy to your palate.
